We start with the document closest to the exact product or appliance. Manufacturer claims, government guidance, calculations, planning assumptions, and measured results remain separate so the reader can see what each conclusion is based on.

When sources disagree
We prefer the current manual or support document tied to the exact model. If two official sources still disagree, the page explains the difference or omits the uncertain value instead of presenting it as settled.
When a page changes
We recheck a page when a manufacturer changes a specification, a cited document moves, or a reader provides better primary evidence. The visible recommendation changes only when the evidence or the resulting decision changes.
